Fairfield, Alabama
Hanna’s original paint line is located near the U S Steel facility in Fairfield, Alabama. Built in 1983, this operation is the foremost supplier of pre-painted purlin to the metal building industry. Fairfield has rail siding for receiving of bare coils and shipping of coated coils. This paint line has a 150,000 - ton capacity and can handle steel coils from 24 inches to 54 inches wide and with gauges ranging from .020 to .165. Hanna has three slitters at this location to support our painted steel customer requirements. Hanna has made improvements to the paint line since installation that include the addition of a new cooling tower and a new steel pre-treatment section.

Pekin, Illinois
Strategically located in the Midwest between Chicago and St. Louis, Hanna’s Pekin, Illinois facility is the largest heavy gauge coating line in the United States. Our Pekin, IL paint line began operation in 1999 with a line capacity of 300,000 - tons and the ability to coat coils from 24 inches to 62 inches wide and steel gauges ranging from .020 to .189. This plant utilizes one slitter. The core materials that are painted at Hanna are HR, CR, and Galvanized.
